Czym są ekspresy do kawy

Można zrobić sobie kawkę na różne sposoby. Pewne kwestie są wspólne: ziarna kawy i jakieś dodatki, często mleczne.

Ziarna kawy

Na rynku spotykamy w zasadzie 2 gatunki kawy: arabica i robusta. Arabica rośnie wyżej, jest trudniejsza w hodowli, ma delikatniejszy smak. Robusta jest mocniejsza, tańsza. Kupując mamy zazwyczaj mieszankę obydwu gatunków. Czasem 100% arabica (niekoniecznie najsmaczniejsza). Od zawartości każdego z gatunków zależy smak, aromat i co tam jeszcze. Podsumowując: prawie zawsze mieszanka arabica i robusta - i tak ma być. Poza tym kawy nie róźnią się znacząco.

Kawa często jest na różne sposoby suszona, palona, wzbogacana cukrem i innymi dodatkami - często aromatyzowana (leje się takie chemiczne coś żeby pachniałą lub smakowałą lepiej). Podobnie z herbatą - kupujemy jakiś rodzaj herbaty ale to, że jest ona "mocna" i "ma czarny kolor po zaparzeniu" to wcale nie zasługa herbaty tylko barwników i innych paskudztw dodanych do niej - patrz tetley/tata, inne marki taty, itp.

 

Te z biedronki to też arabica i robusta ale w opakowaniu i z dziwacznymi oznaczeniami mającymi sugerować coś lepszego (liczbowe oznaczenie smaku, aromatu czy czegoś tam jeszcze).

Sposób przyrządzenia

Kawę mielimy. W "zwykłym" młynku (grubo) lub w żarnowym (drobno). Młynki żarnowe są droższe. Zaleca się wymianę żaren co jakiś czas. W Polsce nie spotkamy raczej młynka z górnej półki ani wymienianych żaren - po prostu nikomu się nie opłąca nawet jeśli by o tym wiedział. Osobiście używam młynka żarnowego ElProm :)

Zmielona kawa musi być zaparzona - zalewamy zmieloną kawę gorącą wodą. Może być pod ciśnieniem.

• Najprostsza to "po turecku" - zalewamy kawę wrzątkiem i mamy na spodzie fusy.
• Albo ekspres przelewowy - podobna zasada ale nie mamy fusów i fusy nie leżą we wrzątku (przez co nie wydzielają się z kawy pewne substancje). Czytaj więcej o barbituranach i innych. Czy to lepiej czy gorzej? Zdecyduj samodzielnie.
• Albo z kawiarki - para wodna przechodzi z podniesionym ciśnieniem przez kawę - otrzymujemy mocną kawę (fusów mniej, kawa dość mocna).
• Można też użyć maszyny, któraprzygotuje więcej i szybciej parę wodną. Efekt podobny ale szybciej i wyższe ciśnienie. To "ekspres ciśnieniowy".

O czymś zapomniałem?

• Kawa rozpuszczalna. Producent używa którejś z powyższych metod, osusza napój kawy i tak uzyskaną osuszoną kruszy i wsypuje do słoiczka.

Urządzenia

Mamy więc kilka grup urządzeń.

• "Po turecku" wymaga tylko szklanki. Ewentualnie dzbanka oddzielającego fusy.
• Ekspres przelewowy - urządzenia różnią się kształtem, kolorem, rozmiarem, pojemnością, wydajnością. W niektórych można wymieniać części. Niektóre mają podgrzewanie kawy (aby po zaparzeniu pozostała ciepła - super do biura). Warto kupić taki z zabezpieczeniem żeby się nie spalił jeśli zapomnimy o wstawionej kawie.
• Kawiarka. Znajduje się chyba w każdym włoskim domu. W Polsce nadal nie tak popularna. Różnią się wielkością. Są tanie i dobre. Najsłabsze punkty to: mocowanie klapki (zawias często odpada) i uszczelka (z czasem zawodzi a często jest trudna do wymiany). Jak się zepsuje to kupujemy nową za cenę opakowania kapsułek ekspresu ciśnieniowego :)

Niektóre modele mają osobno dyszę do spieniania mleka. Na pewno każdy profesjonalny czyli kolbowy. Niektóre nieprofesjonalne amatorskie automaty lub półautomaty również. Wśród kapsułkowych też się zdarza - ale dużo rzadziej.

Ten biedronkowy to ciśnieniowy na kapsułki. Do dostania za 150zł lub, jak ostatnio, za pół darmo (za 300zł ale dostajemy równowartość w bonach).

Co jest ważne (zależy od opiniodawcy)

Moim zdaniem najważniejsze kryteria dla Kowalskiego:

• Co lubimy? To najważniejsze kryterium.

• Ile tego pijemy? Kapsułki są dobre jeśli nie pijemy kilku(nastu) kaw dziennie.

• Czy mamy czas na sprzątanie? Jeśli tak to kawiarka + ekspres kolbowy + ekspres przelewowy to najlepsze połączenie :D

• Ile mamy miejsca na sprzęt? Kawa po turecku lub rozpuszczalna zajmą najmniej miejsca, kawiarka następna. Pozostałe opcje wahają się od średnich do dużych.

I oddzielna grupa użytkowników:

• jak wygląda?
• jaki ma kolor?
• jakiej marki jest?
• ile kosztuje?
  

 I jeszcze jedna

• jak szybko?
  
• jak często wymaga serwisowania?
• jak długo nada się do użytku (dla ilu klientów?)
• jaki jest miesięczny koszt utrzymania przy założeniu iluś sztuk kawy dziennie?

Dla targetu biedronkowego: 

• Czy chcę pić dużo kawy?
• Czy jestem kawoszem?
• Czy cenię sobie wysoką jakość (zamiast zadowalać się dobrą jakością za dobrą cenę)?
• Czy przygotowuję/piję kawę powoli bez pośpiechu?
• Czy zależy mi na taniej kawie?
• Czy bardzo zależy mi na ekologii (mniej śmieci)?

 Jeśli na któreś z powyższych pytań odpowiadasz pozytywnie to może lepiej rozważyć inny produkt? 

Jak nie przepłacać (i na czym zarabiają producenci)

Często możemy kupić tani sprzęt na kapsułki ale kapsułki są drogie. Tak jest w przypadku modeli z biedronki, tchibo, aldi, ...

Kapsułka to pojemniczek na kawę z kawą. Często z czymś w rodzaju filtra (np. papierkiem) aby kawa nie wylatywała z pojemniczka (otworki muszą być wystarczająco duże dla napoju kawy ale zbyt małe dla cząstek kawy/fusów).

Aby odbić sobie tani ekspres producenci dorzucają marżę do kapsułek. I starają się utrudnić ponowne napiełnianie ich. Podobnie jak z drukarkami na tusz (gdzie pojemniczek tuszu jest droższy niż krew i cena niewielkiego pojemniczka sięga nierzadko kilkuset złotych).

Jak nie przepłacać

Można kupić inne urządzenie.

Jeśli chcemy kupić urządzenie na kapsułki (proste w obsłudze, łatwe w utrzymaniu) to cena kapsułki waha się obecnie od około 50gr do 2zł. Te tańsze to często zamienniki innego producenta - warto sprawdzić czy zamienniki do danego modelu są dostępne.

Na koniec kapsułki wielokrotnego użytku. Można je zakupić - często wykonane ze stali nierdzewnej, rzadziej z tworzywa. Ich wadą jest wysoka cena (50zł-100zł za stalowe, kilkanaście do kilkudziesięciu złotych za te z tworzywa) i potrzeba samodzielnego napełniania / czyszczenia.

Producenci starają się na różne sposoby utrudnić nam napełnianie kapsułek. Zazwyczaj są one unikalne dla danego ekspresu, trudne do otwarcia, zgrzewane, mało wytrzymałe. Do kosza trafia nie tylko kawa

W przypadku Delta Q milk qool dostępne są obecnie stalowe kapsułki wielokrotnego użytku - ale możemy też używać tych z biedronki - cena 1.30zł/szt 5g-6g oznacza, że kapsułka wielokrotnego użytku w cenie 60zł zwróci się po wypiciu nieco ponad 35 kaw (kawa mielona 200g to około 10zł). Nie liczę tutaj kosztów naszej własnej pracy.

Ja prawdopodobnie skorzystam częściowo z kapsułek (z lenistwa) jak i tej kapsułki wielokrotnego użytku. 

No i obejrzyj koniecznie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2dGg0RcnCU - znajdziesz tam m.in. negatywną opinię o wielorazowej kapsułce metalowej (otworki się zatykają jeśli nie damy filtra na wylocie). Opinia jest niestety w pełni uzasadniona - to najprawdopodobniej kapsułki zaprojektowane do ekspresu innego rodzaju o odwrotnym przepływie. Aby działały należy dodać jakiś filtr na wylocie kapsułki.

Ostatnio u mnie sprawdza bardziej się opcja spieniania mleka DeltaQ i używanie kawiarki. Ekspres kolbowy był by dużo lepszą (ale droższą ;) ) opcją.

Na koniec atrybuty, które uznaję za "oczywistą oczywistość" - ale niektóre urządzenia nie mają takich podstawowych funkcji: kratka na wypadek przelania kawy/mleka, bezpiecznik, pojemnik an wodę z możliwością demontażu/odłączenia.

Atlassian is a crap :(

 In the past atlassian company created a great product. It was meant for both managers and developers - and fulfilled needs of both "sides". With time it began to grow. Was moved to cloud. Own instances are still possible but with other problems (and many of them). The application began to grow a lot.

Nowadays it is a crap.

It was a java app in the past. Already a bit overgrown but not that terrible. Now they moved this to cloud and much is happening on user's side Whenever editing a page it is quite common to have over 150% CPU (1 and a half thread) all the time loaded with confluence only altogether with 500MB or more of RAM. You must add browser itself and operating system to the calculation. As a result my laptop (32GB of RAM, linux instead of windows10, 8 threads on i7 CPU) gets overheating. Whenever the cooling gets loud... I close atlassian pages.

When it comes to error handling and issue reporting... In the past atlassian open its jira for the users. Everyone could report an issue, everyone could vote for it. This was expected to be the driver for development. Then cost cutting, migration of development to other locations, micromanagement and similar stuff killed the products. Support really sucks. To keep amount of tickets small... that is the first time I have seen such a dirty trick.... let's spend a separate paragraph on that.

Atlassian support is grouping similar feature requests and issue reports together. Over-grouping often. For example user is having issue on computer and there is a feature request for a computer... they might use "computer" as the common word and say this is the same issue - close one ticket, add it to another (although those are 2 separate items). Then they might close dozens of tickets by this grouping (showing huge amount of tickets closed to keep dumb managers happy). And finally provide an answer stating "this new feature won't be done" or "works for me" or "in case of one guy in North Korea this feature works so use whatever he does and we think the issue is solved". Even if this is not solved for 98% of users. Correction - they grouped things together so the issues are not solved for 99.99999% of the users. In other words atlassian treats user badly, providing expensive overbloated resource-hungry application. If you have an option... try to avoid that crap.

Several years ago I would recommend otherwise - it was a great app. Nowadays I tend to avoid it.

YoloMouse cursors

I was not satisfied with the default YoloMouse (nice software by the way) cursors so I have created my own.

I was also disappointed that there are no good free cur editors.

Catz R.A.T. 4+ review

 Recently I bought this Catz R.A.T 4+ mouse on sale (€25). But I think I overpaid. But lets get to the details.

Terrible software. Startup takes half a minute (using M.2 drive with 3000MB/s transfer, PC with 80GB of RAM and 4-cores CPU). When you "save" settings... it gets frozen for several seconds.

Mouse was created for gamers:

• 👍There is a side "precision" button that decrease sensitivity when pressed. Lucky, it can be re-mapped. If you are playing anything FPS like "quake"or alike - this might be a good option for aiming.
• 👎There is a top-button meant for profile switch. There are 4 profiles - number cannot be changed. The button cannot be remapped. There is no indicator of current profile. The LED "can be adjusted" but only in small range: off or 3 similar brightness levels, red only.
• 👎4 side LED's indicate sensitivity - brightness cannot be adjusted and LED's require you to pick up the mouse and see... No added value at all.
• 👎The "palm rest" can be only moved along a single axis. Not too good.
• 👎No tilt wheel. Maybe not require for a gaming mouse but I love it. Even for gaming.
• 👎No linux drivers.
• 👎At first it feels nice. But after a while I can see how far away it is from the Logitech quality (I love MX Revolution and its variants - even thought it is wireless).
• Large wheel with strong physical feedback. But I cannot tell whether after some time it would be still the same.
• Loud clicky keys. Not a problem but I like silent keys. Loudness similar to my mechanical keyboards.
• 5 side LED bars (I am not sure whether a single LED or multiple) with no purpose.
• Each "profile" is a separate thing so you ned to configure everything for each profile. The profiles would be good if several gamers would be playing using that mouse but otherwise this is an annoying feature, button wasted and over-bloated application. I even like dell alienware's mouse app more.
• Too wide. And no way to adjust its width. I have a large hand but it is just too wide for me. Probably too-too-large for kids.
• Only right-handed
• No rest points for little finger. No button under it either.
• Drivers can be downloaded from a painfully slow and bloated page.
  

 Overall: a disaster.

I'll compare it to a cheap chineese Magic Eagle HV-MS735... which is far superior to catz rat4+. The Magic Eagle is a wired mouse with 12 side keys, tilt wheel, RGB LED's (one under the body, one in the wheel), fully configurable keys, fingers rest, similar quality of cable, drivers CD included and application which sucks but is superior on every side to the catz one.

Now the price. It is a bit bellow €100. In that price segment you have many much better mices. And by adding a few bucks you get top-shelf products. Or you can pay much less but get a legendary product such as Deathadder :)

Bluetooth trackers. Chipolo, TrackR, etc...

 Introduction

Some time ago (4 years?) I decided to buy a tracking device. It happened after yet another spat at home when my son/wife/whoever lost keys again. There are many options and right choice is not obvious.

I am in no way partnering with any of the companies and bellow you would find my personal opinion after using some devices for over a year.

Items

Chipolo

This one comes as the first as (so far) this seems the best tracker (though not the best item).

At price between $15 to $25 for one you get a functional device that lasts over 6 months on a single battery.

Relatively strong case, small size and simple battery access. Great battery life. I have seen it to hang only once (works fine after restart). App also shows when and where it was seen last time including device which seen it and those devices (cell phones) can be searched as well. We have crowd search (I can search my keys when within range of my wife's phone... That way once I started search... my wife called me to tell that my keys are with her).

App drains phone battery but only a bit - it is far better than some other apps.

Mi band

Not actually a tracking device but works the best so far. It can last over a year on a single charge (version 1) when in inactive mode (not connected, not tracking). And all thin on a rechargable battery.

But it has only vibration, no speaker, no strong light.

Trackr

Smallest device I have seen so far (though you can get ex. spy things or shop trackers, some with size of dust). Smallest if you are searching for a bluetooth tracker with replaceable battery.

Problem: battery (cr2016) lasts for a few weeks.

Other issues: often disconnecting, difficult to open for battery replacement, fragile.

You would break it within first year of use as replacement of battery is required too often and opening the fragile case is too difficult.

I got 3 or 4 and this expense was a waste of my money.

And it hangs from time to time or disconnects - not a tragedy though. In fact it would be better to say that device stays disconnected but connects very well to phone on demand (and it is easy to press the button while in your pocket). The other way round (phone to device) is not working well.

Cheap Chinese noname device

I have some cheap Chinese devices. Price starts at $2. Battery usually lasts 2 weeks to 2 months. Applications cannot be trusted, often drain battery and are barely usable. Devices can hang.

Often bulky size but large battery can offer better life.

It is a waste of your money.

Summary

Chipolo is the best so far I have seen to find keys, wallet, etc.

Mi band (or amazfit bit) is the best to find your phone.

I have not tried other devices yet.

When seller claims 1 year on a battery...it is often a lie

Orange - problem z funbox 2.0

Dzisiaj odmówił mi posłuszeństwa orange funbox 2.0. To ten, który ma osobno modem światłowodowy (ONT) i router. Wersja 3.0 posiada modem zintegrowany (więc nie można podłączyć włąsnego routera nie posiadającego modemu światłowodowego=ONT).

Nie mogłem się podłączyć do http://192.168.1.1 ani nie widziałem sieci WiFi.

Na modemie świeciły się na zielono wszystkie "światełka" oprócz LOT.

Na routerze funbox 2.0 z kolei miałem zielony "power" oraz czerwony migający (około 2 razy na sekundę) "internet". Zadzwoniłem pod numer pomocy orange i miałem sporo szczęścia trafiając na ogarniętą konsultantkę - dość szybko dostałem zlecenie wymiany urządzenia. Podjechałem do punktu orange i wymieniłem urządzenie. Po podłączeniu całą konfiguracja (również hasło i login) zostały automatycznie zaczytane. Musiałem tylko się zalogować na urządzenie i zmienić ustawienie sieci bezprzewodowej.

Jeśli masz te same objawy u siebie to już wiesz co robić. Powodzenia,

Biedroka meblomaster regał narożny wiszący

Kupiłem niedawno regał narożny wiszący wyprodukowany przez meblomaster dla biedronka (jeronimo martins). Cena 50zł nie jest wysoka - niestety osiągnięto ją kosztem niższej jakości wykonania oraz nadmiarowymi oszczędnościami.
Jest to regał narożny - z racji konstrukcji nie da się go zamontować inaczej (przynajmniej bez przeróbek).
Po zamontowaniu nie będzie się trzymać jakoś super pewnie ze względu na 2 punkty mocowania (z pomocą 2 kołków rozporowych każdy) - u góry i na dole.
Otwory są nawiercone nierówno - dlatego regał nie będzie równy. I nie będzie pasował do rogu pokoju - a właśnie tam musi być zamontowany. W najlepszym wypadku możemy liczyć widoczne na szczeliny między regałem i ścianą. W najgorszym niestabilną i nieestetyczną konstrukcję.

Pomysły na modyfikację:

• Przewiercenie otworów na kołki "na wylot" pozwoli ułożyć półkę w sposób inny niż zamierzony przez producenta - niestety pogorszy też stabilność. Jedyna "stabilna" konstrukcja to odwrócenie mocowania (na dole po prawej stronie zamiast zaprojektowanej lewej i u góry po lewej zamiast zaprojektowanej prawej).
• Wykorzystanie półek z innymi wspornikami.
• Przewiercenie się przez ścianki boczne w celu montażu.
• Nawiercenie nowych otworów na kołki oraz wkręty ale w miejscach innych niż zaprojektował producent.

Wydane 50 zł to niewielki wydatek. Mam w efekcie kilka półeczek gotowych do montażu.
Jeśli kupić blat w hipermarkecie budowlanym (50zł / m²) wraz z docięciem... to musimy jakoś zalaminować brzegi co jest trudne w warunkach domowych (a profesjonalny sprzęt zaczyna się od 100'000zł). Najtańsze rozwiązania to (1) profil wykończeniowy lub (2) laminowanie z użyciem żelazka (nie daje jakichś super efektów) lub (3) okleina przyklejana (samoprzylepna lub na klej) - od najbardziej estetycznej i trwałej do najgorszej.
A jeszcze lepiej kupić coś porządnego. Żałuję wydania tych 50 zł.

Some TV OS'es (and hardware) compared

I had a chance to use several TV's and bellow I'm trying to describe them from an enduser perspective without any influence from any manufacturer.

Note that I have used only a few releases (often from the cheap range) and software versions could differ a lot between different versions.

Philips. As far as I know this should be in fact Funai with a sticker "Philips". Both companies are coming from Japan.
Software is raw. Don't expect fancy features  just basic ones. Closed source, market and software. Fairy powerful in terms of customization... but you need to know undocumented things and this is not possible if you are not working for them.
Very cheap TV's with 4k (UHD) displays. But cheap has often hidden cost. Those cheap TV's should not be used as monitors - you would get 4k at 60 Hz refresh rate but brightness might not be even on all the surface, black color is in fact gray, maximum brightness is poor and light sources are wearing quickly.
Except that TV like every else.
Operating system is proprietary without sources, alternatives, etc. and this is bad. Newer versions are android based (this is both good and bad as androidTV can be slow but has good support).
I would love to disable cable-TV permanently (DVB-T, etc.) but this is not possible. Televison view is the default you start from (you could press "netflix" button to enter netflix instead) so this is a waste of time for me (as I am not watching tv).
Remote control is just nice.
Cheap but not bad.

LG. With WebOS. I love it. Would be even better if you would be able to gain root access easily (but then people would break it). Solid software and good hardware.

Panasonic.
Nice OS focused on cable TV. The model I  have seen is a bit slow and not user friendly. I would expect that TV quickly reacts to a keypress. And that after an option is chosen it would allow getting quickly back to the previous step... but instead it brings you to the beginning of lists.
Slow, lacks some user-friendly features. Has some apps and is not bad.

Manta. I have seen a some nice (in terms of hardware) without smart features. And cheap.
I have seen cheap with poor backlight, terrible colors and viewing angles, bad features. Newer models are androidTV based (good due to good market and support, bad as it is slow).
If buying look at the colors, backlight (often not even across the screen), white and black (which are gray and gray).
You get what you pay for.

Samsung. I know there are "samsung boys" who just love samsung. But I am not such a person.
Hardware is OK in general. Software not bad. Remote is a disaster (I really really have the e-manual).
They have Orsay OS / Tizen OS. Apps supported are not that bad. But samsung controls your device. And not much things are customizable.
You would very often run things you didn't want (ex. ads, e-manual, other crap) and you cannot avoid that.
Acceptable software, acceptable hardware, very poor remote.

i915 Resetting rcs0 for hang on rcs0

Recently I had an issue with linux freezing.
Actually I was trying to run an application based on zoom communicator. When joining a conference I had 48 seconds of freeze interrupted with short periods of responsiveness.
`cat /var/log/kern.log` showed lines with `Resetting rcs0 for hang on rcs0`
Same in dmesg.
Root cause is in the kernel and something is buggy there. Best option would be to fix the issue. Another option is to use older kernel module. I have choosen 3rd - to use older kernel.

`apt install linux-image-5.3.0-40-generic`
 ...
linux-image-5.3.0-40-generic set to manually installed.
 ...
This way grub autoremove shouldn't auto-remove this kernel and I should be able to run linux using this older kernel... a better option would be to use older driver or fix the issue...
Next step:
`sudo editor /etc/defaults/grub`
GRUB_TIMEOUT set to something above default 2 so that you can enter the menu... at the cost of longer startup.
I have 'splash' option so I removed that as well.

Then `sudo grub-set-default 'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.3.0-40-generic'`
followed by update-grub

Then reboot.

CoVID-19 "Chineese" coronavirus - a conspiracy theory

Data bellow are not supported by any scientific data and there is no way to prove it (even if it would be true). Let's now think about a scenario...

Some country created a "perfect bio-weaponry virus":

• Extremely infectious
• No symptoms at all for long period
• A vaccine exist
• RNA-type virus, thus high chance of mutation
• A vaccine works well for the whole family, even for most mutations
• Could be deadly or not - effect has further consequences
• Infected people having some kind of medical problems causing them ineffective in battle (and/or science)
• Infected people become sterile

Such a weapon could be used in case of war. Or for economic purpose.

Several use scenarios are possible:

• Very deadly virus (>90% infected are killed)
• Could be used to wipe enemy
• After use of nuclear weapon in Hiroshima and Nagasaki country responsible for that (United States of America) was blamed a lot for cruelty and killing many people
• Whoever use it would be blamed by the history
• People becoming sterile are not important in this scenario
• Deadly, but not much (few percent infected infected are killed)
• Dangerous enough to force countries to use precautions
• Impacts world logistics - people won't travel much
• Increase separation of different regions
• Empower minorities (especially where living in ethnic groups with limited relations to other nations)
• Vaccine should be immediately released among the nation... unless the ethnic minority is already resistant
• Vaccine could be sold to get a lot of money
• Targeted enemy would vanish soon after (some dead immediately, rest would vanish after a generation since they are sterile)
• Whoever used it, would get area for expansion
• To ensure villain's supremacy, enemy should be still bound somehow (ex. need of continuous vaccination)
• Would shift world economy much
• Whoever use it would be blamed by the history (but likely less than in case of a deadly virus)
• Not deadly at all
• Could become deadly due to mutations
• Not deadly thus not impacting any countries (at least at first until it is a problem)
• Not really usable

The middle scenario seems most usable. But no one would like to be blamed for using such a weapon. And development of bio-weaponry is (in theory) illegal (yet many countries work on it).

Possible targets.

• Own country. Makes no sense unless you wish to mitigate traces at all cost.
• Beneficial for the country only if we exterminate rest of the world.
• Nonsense in case of China since they have strong economy which is well driven.
• Economically strong country where it would create a hole in the world economy. China, India, US are some options.
• Need to be well prepared to fill the hole (thus other listed candidates could benefit from that).
• Beneficial for the country to fill the gap.
• Country that is very bound with us by trade. Some examples are US-China, Russia-Europe+China.
• Must be prepared to "support" the country quickly (and to overtake it).
• Beneficial to whoever is in good relations with such country and who has economy solid enough to take the overruled nation's place.
• Country that is a rivalry supplier of some goods. Ex. Russia, Norway, US.
• Beneficial for the rivalry. 
• A country with many citizens, solid economy and dense population (to maximize spread rate). Ex. China, India.
• Small country that is immune to the bio-weaponry.

There are more scenarios. But it seems a very bad idea if China would do it (intentionally).

USA seems a valid candidate as it is bound with China by trade and could overtake China's place. It would also remove a strong rivalry on the economy race. If they have a vaccine this would also give a strong economy boost related to vaccine sell.

Smaller countries that are very ethnic. Israel, Poland, African countries, Norway, etc.

Any other scenarios?

For me the virus looks just "too perfect".

We will see what the future would show.

Ubuntu - slow sudo

When I run `sudo su` on my ubuntu, there is a large delay (wait time of some sort).
`sudo su && strace -Tr -o sudo.strace sudo su` told me (almost) everything I needed:
- `sudo su` to become effective UID 0 (root)
- strace - a tool which allows you digging into the running application
- options Tr... trace options
- -o to save output into sudo.strace file
- last `sudo su` is the command to trace

The output I got had this:

The `sudo` was trying to query some network address.
Check in /etc showed that I had a strange nameserver added to /etc/ppp/resolv.conf. I have removed that.
To further improve the performance I'll need to check other requests as well. And possibly understand why the heck sudo is trying to query network at first place. And then remove that part.

Netflix issues / google is a monopolist

Netflix says 'This app is not compatible with your device.'
And I could not find netflix app on the play market.
At first I thought this is some problem with the play market configuration on my phone. Later I got this confirmed.
Then I tried to download & install manually the application itself. And this didn't work.
After some heavy digging... I realized that this is due to DRM and google monopoly.

In short:

• Netflix won't install if your phone is not marked as safe
• it won't be displayed by play market
• it won't work if installed on such a device

To have a deice marked as safe your phone cannot be:

• rooted
• oem bootloader unlocked
• (likely) unofficial

For sure this is how it works with google pay and recent netflix. Soon you won't be able to use netflix on older devices.

The devices are now protected by this DRM.

You could either use this ecosystem or not use those services at all.

Your device might be yours - but you must have a closed source ecosystem to use the services.

This is similar with Apple.

Google is going to take control over (too) many aspects of society. Together with other companies.

Governments are already structures existing in parallel to those larges corporations.

To get it back working:

• Remove your google account from the device
• Ensure there are no other google accounts
• After that use factory reset
• If using an unofficial rom - install stock
• Factory reset again
• Go to settings, info about software/device, click several times on build number to enable developer mode
• Make sure your OEM bootloader is off (possibly other options might be required to default as well)
• Factory reset once again
• After restart, log into your account
• You should be able to download netflix again

If your device was in addition using google family and child account... open google family for children, use menu (hamburger icon) and remove account before all the steps above.

If you tried to enter developer mode on a device locked by google family... it must be unlocked first using google family for parents on the parent's device. Took me some time to find it.

If you had an account before any of the factory resets and forgot (could not) to check what was the logged google account... you end with FRP (factory reset protection). If your bootloader was locked... you are in deep s**t. Like I was.

Overall the future looks very dark.

I recommend watching "The Mother" movie. Google removed their "don't be evil" motto. If not google then there are many other parties attempting to create similar super-AI.

I recommend watching "Elysium". Quite a likely future (although world in space? Unlikely.)

But we are still few steps before that.

At first expect rich people to become even richer.

Then governments fight with corporations. Or join with them.

Then labor camps under different name. (you should also read "1984" by Orwell)

Watch matrix. Imagine some group of people (or AI) that knows everything about you. And controls you better than you.

Bug bounties. Well paid. Sells our freedom. We will give our freedom away ourselves.

I am pretty sure that this will work against humanity.
